Dug straight from the ground in South Australia, this 100% natural terracotta-coloured, non-toxic, air-dry clay has a high degree of plasticity, ideal for hand building.
It is an excellent modelling material for pottery artists, students and kids alike.
The shrinkage when dried is 10%.Ā Ideal firing temperature 1050Ā°C-1100Ā°C. Fires 1000Ā°C pink (under field or bisque), 1090Ā°C deep red, 1150Ā°C starting to go brown
Can also be left air-dried.Ā
Please do not leave the unfinished product outside plastic the bag, seal the bag and store it in a cool/shady place.
